Yes, this is a difficult sewing machine to sew elastic fabrics on. A Pfaff with an IDT system would be the best for your fabric. But you found the right solution already by getting the right tread.😀👍. Enjoy our sewing day! (I do videos on sewing machines in German and English.)

I agree with the earlier comment - I made it and the neckline was too big so if I make again I have to remove the gaping. It is a pretty top though.

I love the blouse but can you tell me what cardigan/jacket you are wearing? I love it.

I made this top in a viscose challis and found that the neck was far too wide. I had to unpick the binding on each side of the front, put in more gathering and then reattach the binding. In retrospect I should have tried it on before I finished off the button loop and sewed on the button! It is though such a pretty top and yours looks just lovely. I also think this works best in a very drapey fabric unless you like a very poofy top.
